i was in the neighborhood the other week in desperate need of a haircut before a work meeting... all nearby barbers were totally booked up and one of my female colleagues recommended shine, where she goes regularly. i promptly gave them a call, and they were able to squeeze me in within the hour (amazing!), and got an amazing cut from emily (quite possibly best haircut i have ever received). while i love my old timer barbers... if i'm ever in portland area again, i'm sure i'll go to shine!
